Leigh Waldron-Taylor's Kaprow Reading Saturday Canceled!

I will read a written response to Allan Kaprow's essay Should the artist become a man of the world? published in ARTnews, October, 1964. Please read the essay and consider whether it has any significance for today's artist and the questions posed by #class. Skip what is obviously dated. The text is available online here in Kaprow's collected essays, Essays on the blurring of art and life (1993). Please note that the original essay, with the original question title, Thomas Hess' editorial, and December 1964 response letters make for more interesting reading.
